As we close another year of impactful work, we at the Asmlash-Grant Foundation wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you.

Your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our journey since our inception in 2014, particularly through the challenging times of the last three years.

Our focus on providing humanitarian aid to Tigrayan refugees in Sudan amidst a conflict that has tragically claimed over a million lives has been a journey filled with both challenges and triumphs. The Maternal and Children’s Clinic we opened in one of Sudan’s densely populated refugee camps has become a haven, offering crucial health services to 100 patients daily. This year, as Sudan grappled with its own internal conflict, leading many international NGOs to withdraw, our foundation stood firm. We continued to serve not only the 20,000 plus vulnerable refugees but also internally displaced persons (IDPs) who found themselves in dire need.

As detailed in our 2023 recap video, your contributions have enabled us to deliver equitable healthcare, educate on preventative care, provide nutritional kits for malnourished children, and distribute essential items for well-being. These efforts have been vital in improving the lives of those we serve.

We are especially grateful to our trusted partners, including UNHCR Sudan, WHO Sudan, TDRF, Daily Paper, TEE, and numerous other organizations, whose collaboration has been indispensable. To our individual donors – your generosity and belief in our mission have been the driving force behind our success.

Looking towards 2024, our dedication to aiding Tigrayan refugees in Sudan remains a top priority. In addition, we are gearing up to intensify our humanitarian efforts in Tigray, Ethiopia. The first phase of this expanded mission involves shipping a container filled with medical supplies and equipment valued at more than $290,000. This initiative marks the start of our comprehensive plan to help reconstruct Tigray’s war-torn healthcare system. We are hopeful and committed to making this the first of many significant contributions to support the region’s healing and rebuilding process.

As we embark on this new chapter, we humbly urge our community of generous donors and partners to continue your support. Your contributions are not just donations; they are lifelines that empower us to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. To those who have already sent a year-end gift, thank you for your invaluable support. If you haven’t yet contributed, please consider making a difference today.

Thank you for being part of this compassionate journey. Together, we can continue to bring hope and healing to those affected by brutal conflict and displacement.

With deepest gratitude,

Suzani and Gary Grant
